Boston is a magical place that seems to come alive, with rich history, culture and our little pub it’s a special place. People from all walks of life co exist between the avenues, the bustling art culture, music and zest for life along with beautiful Victorian homes dating back to the 1900s make it a wonderful place to visit.
Our little pub Gringos Cantina began it’s story in 1997 and has been a family owned and run business since then, we are the local where strangers become friends and friends really do become family. In 2020 we decided to expand our little pub into a pizzeria and have not looked back, we are planning new and exciting things for the future, if Covid19 taught us anything it was to seize every moment and be grateful for everyday, everyone and everything.

The area was known as 12-Myl-Pos (12th mile post), as it marks the 12th mile post between Cape Town, City center and Stellenbosch.
